Vajrapani Statue

Vajrapani Vajrapani is the spiritual son of Dhyani Buddha Ashokbhya and his Shakti Mamki. In Nepal, he is less popular than Avalokiteshvara.he is usually of white colour and carries a Vajra in one of his hands and the other hand is positioned in abhaya mudra(protective pose). He may be standing or sitting in padmasana(seated on lotus). Vajrapani is rarely depicted alone. In Nepalese miniatures, he is shown either on the left or on the right side of Tara.
